CardFive Vision 8.5 brief Release Summary
New features
-UHF Encoding
-N5 COD (Card Organization Descriptor)
What´s so special about UHF (Ultra High Frequency)? 
- Reading Range from 3 to 7 meters (is an obvious advantage over the 6cm of the actual reading range of a common proximity card)
- Multi Card and Reading Speed - UHF GEN2 reads several cards simultaneously and it is fast (around 256 kbit/s).
- Querying Capabilities - UHF GEN2 uses a complex schema of interrogations, so simultaneous tag readings are around 200 per second.
- Read/Write, convenient memory map - memory size (total) can be between 96 (12 Bytes) and 512 Kbits (64 Bytes) typically.
- Operating Frequency is 868 Mhz (Europe) to 915 Mhz (USA).

Improvements and Corrections
-Query filter was removed from the Auto Print dialog box. The query specified on the database view will be respected by the Auto Print.
-DB Read-Only fields were disabled for edition on Card Design view.
-Barcode 128 Control Characters were sorted alphabetically.
-New Layout button will be disabled when reached the maximum number layouts.
-Corrected empty name on print spooler, now card file name is displayed.
-Embedded Fonts aren't installed on Win Vista.
-Time unit added (secs) to option on database properties.
-Added a new Button on DB image to connect to twain sources directly. Add tooltips to all buttons on DB image.
-Disable Define view on card design area.
-Add new k Ribbon type to Fargo HDP5000 printer model.
